Cookies are small pieces of text sent to your browser by a website you visit. They help it remember information about your visit, which can both make it easier to come back and make the site more useful to you. Similar technologies do the same job: unique identifiers used to identify a device, pixel tags and browser local storage. On this page we mean all of them when we say cookies, and the sections below describe what we use them for.
This site is built to get by with as little as possible. We measure visits with Plausible, which uses no cookies and stores no personal data — so it always runs. Everything else is switched on only after you give consent, and only to the extent you choose.
Without your consent, no request leaves this site for Facebook or Google.

How to change or withdraw your consent
You can change your choice at any time — consent is not permanent, and withdrawing it is as easy as giving it.
You can also delete stored cookies directly in your browser settings, where you can block websites from storing them altogether.
Transfers outside the EU
The Facebook Pixel and Google tools may process data about your visit on servers in the United States. Both Meta and Google participate in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which provides an adequate level of protection for such transfers.
If you would rather avoid this, simply reject the marketing cookies — the site works exactly the same either way.
